ReLevel Rebirth Guide: What Carries Over?

Game version: 1.1.6

In ReLevel, regular Rebirth and Ultimate Rebirth preserve different kinds of progress.

Regular Rebirth resets this life’s levels and stat allocations, while preserving acquired Equipment, Mastery, companions and Artifacts. Ultimate Rebirth also resets Equipment, companions and Awakening, but preserves the quantities of Artifacts and feeding counts for each species.

What resets during regular Rebirth

Regular Rebirth resets levels gained by the Hero and Pets during this life, along with the Hero’s stat-point allocation. Life-limited boosts and Life Blessings gained from bosses also end.

Gold cannot be carried into the next life. If the Reincarnation Shop is unlocked, you can spend the remaining balance after a journey on Sigils, slot unlocks or conversion to Soul. Unspent money is lost when the next journey begins.

Soul upgrades, acquired Equipment and Artifacts, and automatic stat-allocation settings remain. Equipment Evolution states also carry over through regular Rebirth.

Pets levels and recruited companions

After regular Rebirth, recruited Pets do not need to be captured again. Bond, Inherited Skills, Companion Rank and training rewards carry over. Battle-earned levels reset, while base levels raised with Monster Food remain.

Ultimate Rebirth requires Pets to be captured again and resets Bond and Companion Rank. Feeding counts remain saved for each species, so previous feeding bonuses apply when you capture the same species again.

Unused items and activated effects

Regular Rebirth preserves unused journey consumables and Limited Items. Activated effects follow different rules for each consumable. The following table applies to regular Rebirth.

Item nameAfter regular Rebirth
Hourglass of TimeUnused copies remain. Extra days already added do not carry over.
Training IncenseUnused copies and growth already gained in Mastery and Devotion remain. The double-growth effect ends.
Fruit of GrowthUnused copies remain. The double-EXP effect ends.
Golden CenserUnused copies remain. The double battle-Gold effect ends.
Lucky CompassUnused copies remain. Direction indicators end.
Fate InsuranceUnused copies remain. Active insurance ends.
Hero's ElixirUnused copies and any remaining activated battle uses carry over.
Bond TreatUnused copies and any remaining activated battle uses carry over.
Emblem of WisdomOwnership and the double-EXP effect carry over.

Regular Rebirth clears queued uses of Limited Items and conversions already applied to a Map. A queued Growing Chest Invitation is also cleared before travel, but an unopened Growing Chest already placed remains.

What Ultimate Rebirth preserves and resets

The final Ultimate Rebirth confirmation explicitly lists the following as carrying over.

  • Crystals
  • shop items
  • cosmetics
  • Emblem of Wisdom
  • Feeding counts for each species
  • Quantities of Artifacts

Each Ultimate Rebirth increases effect level caps by 100 for both regular Artifacts and Growing Chest-exclusive Artifacts.

The Hero’s level, generation, Map progress, Equipment and Awakening reset. Mastery, Devotion Rank, Pets Bond and Companion Rank reset too, including growth gained from Mastery Manual or Bonding Gift.

Before Ultimate Rebirth

Check unopened Growing Chest

An unopened Growing Chest survives regular Rebirth but disappears during Ultimate Rebirth, including one placed with an invitation. To retain its rewards as Artifacts, open it before Ultimate Rebirth. Quantities of Artifacts already obtained carry over.

Check what a training consumable improves

Mastery and Devotion Rank gained with Mastery Manual, and Bond and Companion Rank gained with Bonding Gift, reset during Ultimate Rebirth. Check applied growth separately from unused inventory.

Ultimate Rebirth cannot be undone. Read the in-game lists of progress that resets and what carries over before confirming.

Version and reference

Applies to Ver. 1.1.6, based on in-game help, the final Ultimate Rebirth confirmation, and consumable and Pets carryover rules. Updates may change these conditions.
